This patient received a simultaneous breast augmentation and lifting procedure ("vertical mastopexy"). This procedure results in a scar around the areola and another vertical scar inferior to the areola.

Dr. Andrade often suggests this type of procedure for patients with very loose skin or advanced breast sagging, because it can greatly improve the breast shape. The postoperative photos shown here were taken 4 months following surgery, and scars will usually continue to fade for up to 1 year.
