This patient underwent a breast lift procedure called a "vertical mastopexy" that results in a scar around the areola and a vertical scar inferior to the areola.  This type of procedure is employed by Dr. Andrade for patients who require significant skin tightening and elevation of the nipple.

Another type of breast lift called "periareolar mastopexy" only leaves scars around the areola, and it is used by Dr. Andrade to correct milder cases of breast sagging.  During your consultation, he will discuss the different types of mastopexy procedures and their unique advantages and disadvantages.
